Since 2010, Edition Populaire has been dedicated to everyday furniture and functional objects – carefully selected with an eye for form, material and timelessness. From the first limited editions to the latest permanent range, the approach has always remained the same: to showcase objects that are more than just functional items – distinctive designs that accompany and enrich everyday life. Now a new chapter is beginning. Edition Populaire is becoming a design agency. We now represent furniture manufacturers with whom we share the same language: quality, reduction, durability.
From the very beginning, our aim was not only to select objects, but also to develop furniture and everyday objects ourselves. We are continuing to build on this approach – carefully curated, with a focus on craftsmanship and design quality.
This is now becoming apparent with the opening of our new showroom – a place for encounters, exchange and inspiration, where you will find and discover a selection of carefully chosen objects. In addition to sales, we see the showroom as a platform and a space of tension between editions, contemporary design and handcrafted creations.

Swiss Design Classics in Dialogue - Vintage Meets New Edition
To mark the beginning of Zurich Design Weeks, we are joining forces with H100 – das Möbelhaus to present Edition 01 from SwissFurniture, which is impossible to overlook in its clarity and significance: the S943 sideboard by Kurt Thut, the Sesam sideboard by Dieter Waeckerlin, the Squadra cabinet by Klaus Vogt and the RH 117 stacking table by Robert Haussmann.
We invite you to a series of talks with designers, relatives and experts in the field of design, highlighting the contemporary relevance of these pieces of furniture and showing why the Swiss design tradition is still relevant today.
This exhibition is not only a prelude, but also a promise – the beginning of a long-term collaboration, in which further editions, new developments and collaborations with selected partners will follow.
